The Family Birthplace at Saint Joseph Hospital delivers high-touch, high-tech care "one family at a time." High-touch refers to an expert team of board-certified physicians, specialists, nurses and other caregivers who offer patients personalized, one-on-one care before, during and after pregnancy.

Together, the Family Birthplace’s high-touch, high-tech capability offers mom and baby the most comprehensive, personalized care possible.

Fast-Track Your Admission to The Family Birthplace

Because we know you have lots to do before the delivery of your baby, we want to ensure the birth of your baby is one you’ll always remember and treasure.

That's why we offer Fast-Track™ admission. So on the day of delivery, all you need to do is show-up, and we’ll do all the rest.

Fast-track admission is simple. All you need to do is pre-register in person before the 28th week of pregnancy. Our registrar for The Family Birthplace is located on the 4th floor of the Saint Joseph Hospital, 2900 N. Lakeshore Dr. Reduced parking rates and valet parking is available.

When you pre-register, be sure to bring your insurance card and picture identification as well as the completed Family Birthplace Pre-registration Form, which you received in a packet of materials during your visit. For your convenience, you can print the form. Simply complete it and bring it with you at the time you register.
